Notting Hill Trivia

The blue door that is shown numerous times in the Notting Hill film is actually the front door of the director and writer, Richard Curtis (and his wife Emma Freud).  Richard Curtis moved house not long after the release of the film and some have joked that he made the film to increase the house prices of the Notting Hill area, so that when he moved house, he would increase the property prices, including his own house.
